‘Miss’ is my first entirely handmade book. It’s been realized with a technique called coptic stitch binding and it collects some of the most extravagant, odd and sweet sentences my children ever told me in school this year.
«Can I move my name up?» is definitely the sentence I heard the most while I was teaching French in a Primary School in North-East London, but also «Can we sing it again?». One day I started to write them down on a piece of paper and once back in Italy I decided to make this little book.
This book is called ‘Miss’ because this is how they used to call me, and because I miss all of them a lot.
